A bill, sponsored by Senator Caesar Trunzo, was signed into law on Monday, July 21st. The bill established February 28th as “Gulf War Veterans’ Day”.
In 1990 and 1991, hundreds of thousands of American servicemen and women defended America’s interests during Operation Desert Shield and Operation Desert Storm. These men and women served with honor and distinction and accomplished their mission.
“With this law, we can honor and give thanks to the veterans of Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm on February 28th as a Day of Commemoration,” said Senator Trunzo.
